Henry Smith MP has reiterated his support for the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance and Chestnut Tree House, and has called on people in the town and throughout the county to donate Easter eggs for this year’s annual appeal.
For the sixth successive year, the CTSA are collecting Easter eggs for the young people supported by Chestnut Tree House, the only children’s hospice in Sussex.
After donating a House of Commons chocolate bunny to Crawley Town Supporters Alliance Chair, Carol Bates, Henry said;
“My thanks to the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance for their continued efforts to help the children and families at Chestnut Tree House.
“Crawley Town fans have donated more than 2,300 eggs over the last five years, and I’m pleased to see that this initiative is receiving support at a sixth successive Easter.
“If you’re able to donate any Easter eggs I’d urge you to support this great cause.”
Easter eggs can be donated at the main reception at the Checkatrade.com Stadium until Good Friday, 14th April.
Eggs can be left at the reception during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9.00am-4.30pm), and ahead of Crawley Town’s next two matches in League Two against Plymouth Argyle (Saturday, 8th April, 3.00pm kick off) and Cheltenham Town (Good Friday, 14th April, 3.00pm kick off).
