Henry Smith MP has urged people in Crawley and across Sussex to support the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance’s annual Easter Egg Appeal for Chestnut Tree House, the only children’s hospice in the county.
Henry said;
“As the only hospice for children in Sussex, Chestnut Tree House really do deserve our support.
“I’m pleased to be supporting the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance’s Easter Egg Appeal. One of the CTSA’s main community projects each year is to collect eggs on behalf of the town to pass on to the children in the hospice.
“I’d urge anyone who is able to donate to do so.”
Easter eggs can be donated via:
• The CTSA Cabin on home match days
o Crawley Town v. Morecambe, Saturday 5th March, 3pm
o Crawley Town v. Hartlepool United, Saturday 19th March, 3pm
• The Club Reception at the Checkatrade.com Stadium during office hours
o Monday-Friday, 9.00am - 4.30pm
o Saturday match days: 10am onwards
• Travelling to a Crawley Town away game where the CTSA will collect on the coach
o Luton Town v. Crawley Town, Saturday 12th March, 3pm (coach departs the Checkatrade.com Stadium at 11.15am)
The last day for collection will be Thursday, 24th March.
Carol Bates, Chair of the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance, commented;
“The Crawley Town Supporters' Alliance is delighted to, once again, be running our Easter Egg Appeal for Chestnut Tree House. In its fifth year, the Appeal has seen generous contributions of hundreds of Easter eggs for the children.
“If anyone would like to donate an egg to the Appeal, you can take it to the Club's Reception or bring it to the CTSA Cabin on match days.
“The last day for donations is 24th March. Please give generously, thank you.”
