Monday July 21st: At Hilltop Primary School in Southgate this morning with England and Chelsea footballer, Claire Rafferty, and the Football Association, encouraging more girls to take up the sport.
In the afternoon I congratulate Oriel High, Holy Trinity and Hazelwick schools in the House of Commons on their Crawley STEMfest 2015 awards.
Tuesday July 22nd: Meet with General Sir Peter Wall, Chief of the British Army to discuss the security situation in Ukraine and Gaza
Wednesday July 23rd: In Parliament I welcome crime in the Sussex Police area, including Crawley, reducing by 14% since 2010.
Thursday July 24th: Make a speech in Westminster supporting the Government raising income tax thresholds which has reduced bills for over 43,000 Crawley households.
Friday July 25th: This morning I welcome news that Crawley's newest (all through years) school, the Gatwick School, has had its funding agreed by the Department for Education to start teaching from this coming September 8th.
Saturday July 26th: At Gatwick I introduce a £202 million Growth Deal delivered by the Government for the Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership centred on Crawley, with an initial investment of £44 million in transport infrastructure and employment development this year. Part of a nationwide long term economic plan.
