Henry Smith MP and Crawley campaigners have been joined by the Leader of the House of Commons, Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP, and fellow Conservative MPs Peter Bone and Tom Pursglove, in working to secure a Leave vote in the UK/EU referendum on Thursday, 23rd June.
Henry said;
“I’m grateful to the Leader of the House of Commons, Chris Grayling, as well as my parliamentary colleagues Peter Bone and Tom Pursglove, for taking the time to come to Crawley to help us campaign to Leave the European Union on Thursday.
“Successful countries such as Switzerland, which trade with Europe while not being hamstrung by the European Union, are just one example of how we can thrive outside this undemocratic organisation.
“They have, for example, enjoyed the flexibility to complete a trade deal with China, something that we can't do on our own whilst members of the EU.
“Let’s Leave an economically struggling, increasingly undemocratic political bloc, and allow us, as the world’s fifth largest economy, to look out at the rest of the world.”
The Leader of the House of Commons, Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP, commented;
“I’m always pleased to come to Crawley and I was delighted to accept Henry Smith MP’s invitation to campaign here in the town centre for a Leave vote.
“Henry and his colleagues have put together an impressive team campaigning to Vote Leave – it was a pleasure to meet them and they’re another great example of the campaigning efforts I’ve seen for Leave around the country in recent weeks and months.
“It was great to speak with people in Crawley about how Thursday 23rd June is our one chance to Vote Leave and take control.”
