Crawley MP Henry Smith has welcomed the Government’s announcement of £370 million of funding to extend Post Office opening hours, cut queue times and protect rural branches.

This funding brings the total amount invested in the Post Office network since 2010 to £2 billion, and will secure the future of the network.

Henry said;

“Our local Post Office branches are at the heart of neighbourhoods right across Crawley.

“This investment will support the convenience of the Post Office network for local people with mail, banking, passports and many more other transactions.

“Customers and small businesses rely on their local branch every day to access a wide range of services. With this funding we can ensure that our Post Offices are fit for the future.”
