Henry Smith MP joined a cross-party group of parliamentarians in Westminster yesterday, Wednesday 23rd March, to support a Leave vote in the referendum on EU membership on Thursday 23rd June.
The group included ministers Priti Patel and Michael Gove, former Foreign Secretary Lord Owen, and the only UKIP MP, Douglas Carswell.
Henry said;
“I was delighted to join around 100 colleagues in Westminster to mark three months to go until polling day.
“I have supported a referendum on our EU membership for many years and was pleased to stand on a Conservative manifesto last year promising this. I’m looking forward to putting forward the strong case for Brexit now until polling day in Crawley.
“One of the reasons I’ll be voting to leave is so we can take control. I’m looking forward to going to the Vote Leave Crawley street stall on Easter Saturday (26th March) from 12 noon in Queens Square.”
