In October, Henry Smith MP launched a competition for local primary school children to design his personal Christmas card for 2016.
Henry said;
“Last month I wrote to all primary schools in Crawley to invite pupils to take part in my 2016 Christmas Card competition, requesting that a festive piece of art is submitted to adorn the front of my seasonal greetings card.
“During my time as Member of Parliament I have run this competition on a number of years and it’s always such a heart-warming experience looking through all of the excellent designs that the children send in to me – this year was no different, it was again extremely difficult to pick a just one winner and two runners-up!
“As a token of my gratitude I’ll be taking the winner, runners-up and their families on a personal tour of the Houses of Parliament.
“I would like to thank each and every child that took the time to send me their card design and take the opportunity to wish them all a very Merry Christmas.”
