Henry Smith MP has secured a debate in Parliament next week on Southern, Thameslink and Gatwick Express services.
The debate, entitled Govia Thameslink Rail Service, will take place in the House of Commons on Monday 12th September.
Henry said;
“Having secured a debate on local rail services, I’m looking forward to continuing to stand up for local passengers who further endure delays, disruption and industrial action at the hands of GTR and the RMT union.
“I’m continuing to make representations with the Transport Secretary and Rail Minister, and the work of the cross-party All-Party Parliamentary Group on Southern Rail goes on.”
The timing of the Adjournment debate is subject to other business in the House of Commons, and is expected to start at approximately 10pm. The debate is to be broadcast live on BBC Parliament and ParliamentLive.tv.
