Henry Smith MP has congratulated The Railway in Crawley town centre as the winner of his Christmas Pub Competition.

The contest was open to pubs throughout the town, as Crawley’s MP sought to find the establishment which was best decorated for the festive season.

Henry said;

“The Railway has really got into the Christmas spirit with interior and exterior displays, allowing the community to soak up the Christmas spirit.

“I was pleased to present a bottle of House of Commons Blended Scotch Whiskey to the team and I’m looking forward to coming back in the new year to spend some time pulling pints behind the bar!

“There are more than 1,400 jobs connected to Crawley’s almost 40 pubs, which contribute more than £34 million to the local economy per year. This industry deserves our backing and is one I’ll continue to support.”
