Henry Smith MP has launched the sixth annual Young Start-Up Talent competition for the Crawley and Gatwick Diamond area at an event at the Checkatrade.com Stadium on Monday, 13th July.
Henry said;
“I’m very pleased to help launch Young Start-Up Talent again. The scheme is a great opportunity for 16 to 25 year olds to create unique business ideas which they can use and develop for the future.
“The programme has also spread to other parts of the UK. Brighton & Hove, West Kent, East Kent and Croydon now all have their own competitions. I hope this will give young people the foundation to start building their careers through the creation of their own business ideas.
“I’m delighted to be a Patron of Young Start-Up Talent, and I’m pleased to see this concept grow in Crawley and further afield. It’s a great opportunity for a dynamic local business to receive an amazing prize worth £50,000 to help develop their idea and their vision.”
Young Start-Up Talent is organised by Matt Turner, Managing Director of Creative Pod and Director of Crawley Town FC, and Lorraine Nugent, Managing Director of Media Word Waves.
