Henry Smith MP has called on people in Crawley and beyond to donate to the annual Crawley Town Supporters Alliance Easter Egg Appeal for Chestnut Tree House, the only children’s hospice in Sussex.
Henry said;
“It is great to see the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance are organising their appeal for Chestnut Tree House once again this year.
“It has been great to work with the CTSA and back them in their work supporting Crawley Town FC and the wider community.
“I have been to Chestnut Tree House and seen for myself the inspirational work of everyone there – they deserve our help and support.”
Easter eggs can be donated:
- At the CTSA cabin at the Checkatrade.com Stadium on Crawley Town home match days before Easter (Saturday 21st March v. Leyton Orient (3pm), Saturday 28th March v. Gillingham (3pm))
- To the Club’s reception during opening hours
- On the CTSA coach to away games
The CTSA will be co-ordinating the Appeal, and will ensure the eggs are delivered to Chestnut Tree House before Easter Sunday, 5th April.
Mat Cowdrey, Vice Chair of the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance, commented;
“This is an important initiative that the CTSA undertakes and is now a regular fixture in our calendar.
“Having Henry's support for this is wonderful news. Any support and exposure for both the Crawley Town Supporters Alliance and Chestnut Tree House is always more than welcome.”
Terrina Barnes, Corporate Fundraiser at Chestnut Tree House, added;
“The Crawley Town Supporters Alliance are once again running their Easter Egg campaign for Chestnut Tree House. This year, MP for Crawley, Henry Smith, is supporting the initiative.
“The CTSA and Henry are urging local people to support Chestnut Tree House which provides hospice care for over 300 children and families across the whole of Sussex.”
