Graham Cridland, Founder and Chairman of the West Sussex & Surrey Angling Academy, has given his support to Henry Smith, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Crawley, at the General Election on 7th May.
Graham said;
“I first met Henry Smith in 2007 when he was Leader of West Sussex County Council, and came to visit West Sussex Angling Academy at Lakeview Fishery. Henry takes great pride in knowing what is happening in the local community and has since followed the fortunes of the Academy, with great interest and support, visiting the Academy’s courses regularly.
“He is passionate about small charities and business and is always available and quick to respond should the need arise.
“Since he won the Crawley seat in the 2010 General Election he has as MP worked tirelessly to help local communities, charities and businesses in Crawley.
“In 2010 Henry was honoured to be invited and accept to be a Patron of the Academy, for which he has tirelessly represented.
“He deserves to serve our great town for at least the next five years.”
Graham was named as the BBC South East Sports Unsung Hero in 2012, and Henry Smith has expressed his appreciation for his comments.
Henry said;
“I am delighted to have Graham’s support. It has been a pleasure working with him as Member of Parliament for Crawley, and previously when I was Leader of West Sussex County Council.
“The West Sussex and Surrey Angling Academy has helped many Crawley young people for which I am grateful.
“If I am given the honour of being re-elected to represent our town in Parliament, I look forward to continuing to work closely with Graham.”
