Henry Smith, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Crawley, has welcomed the Secretary of State for Defence, Rt Hon Michael Fallon, to the town.
Mr Fallon met with members of Henry's campaign team before heading out to listen to the concerns of local residents.
Henry said;
"I was delighted to welcome the Defence Secretary to Crawley.
"Our country faces a huge choice on 7th May, a Conservative government who will continue to fund our Armed Forces at the highest level of any NATO nation except the US or an alternative Labour/SNP administration that would scrap our independent nuclear deterrent."
The Secretary of State for Defence, Rt Hon Michael Fallon, commented;
"I was pleased to come to Crawley and support Henry Smith - he is the strongest advocate for this town and I sincerely hope he is returned to the House of Commons on 7th May.
"It has just been announced that 2 million jobs have been created in our country since 2010. 1,000 jobs have been created every day since the last election.
"While Britain has created more jobs than the rest of Europe put together, we cannot be complacent. Henry and I will continue to work to ensure David Cameron returns to Downing Street as the head of a majority Conservative Government."
